When you save videos to a playlist inside the YouTube app, it'll be easy for you to revisit the content you want to watch later because you've organised it. The most amazing part about this feature is that it allows you to group by interest, making it easier to find and enjoy videos without searching again.
In other words, playlists allow viewers to curate videos around specific topics, learn in a structured sequence, or keep track of favourite content. They also help personalise the viewing experience by giving users quick access to relevant videos and improving content recommendations based on their saved interests.
You can add your own playlists, the playlists that other creators have created, and videos you've added to "Watch Later". However, playlists are also vice versa in the sense that playlists you've made public in your "Library" can be easily added by other users to their Libraries. Although your playlists can be set to private, making them invisible to others.
How to save playlists
To save playlists, simply open the playlist you want to save and click the “Save” button, which is usually represented by a plus (+) icon or labelled “Save to Library”. Once saved, the playlist will appear in your Playlists section.
You can also save a playlist while watching a video that belongs to one. To do this, open the video, select the playlist displayed on the right side of the screen, and click “Save playlist” in the playlist box.
However, if you ever want to remove a playlist from your library, it's a simple thing to do. Kindly open your YouTube app and go to the playlist. Open the playlist box, and click “Remove”. This will instantly delete it from your saved playlists.
