How to use Polar AI browser
Polar AI browser is another AI browser that allows users to chat with their tabs and do a couple of clicks. It's designed to eliminate the repetitive tasks professionals juggle across dozens of browser tabs each day, like research, recruiting, and sales workflows.
The AI browser is built by former Perplexity engineer Kevin Jiang, who worked on Comet and he built it squarely for knowledge workers. However, everyday consumers can also use the browser and it's not meant to replace Google search.
Polar AI browser operates the web the way a person does—clicking, typing, and navigating sites while logged in as the user, and can run long, multi-step tasks start to finish, anywhere from a few minutes to several hours, having completed a task lasting over fifteen hours without intervention.

How to use the AI browser
The AI browser is currently available for macOS only, via a direct download from polarbrowser.com. The company hasn't announced availability for Windows or mobile yet. Follow these steps to use Polar on your Mac computer:
Go-to “polarbrowser.com” and tap the “try for free” button.
On the page that pops up, enter you email address and tap “Email me the link.”
Now, go-to your email app and open the email you received from “someone from Polar.”
Click the link in the email and you will be taken to a page that'll redirect you to download the app on your Mac computer. If you're not accessing the link via a MacOS device, you will receive a message like the one showing in the image below, asking you to “open the download page on your Mac.”
However, it's important to note that the AI-powered browser currently runs on a freemium model with paid subscription plans starting at $20/month. So, you may not get all the features if you're not on the premium plan.
The AI browser company just raised $5.7 million in seed funding led by Madrona, with angels including former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke and Modal founder Erik Bernhardsson. Even before the seed funding, the product has grown almost entirely by word of mouth over its first seven months, with users running more than 4.5 million actions through it so far.
In addition to that, the browser is built on Chromium, so it works inside the tools and accounts people already use, and it's designed around user control. You can simply watch what the browser is doing, take over anytime, and keep sensitive decisions in your own hands. The AI browser also has guardrails against high-risk autonomous actions (SOC 2 compliance is in progress).
